Clustertruck game engine6/8/2023 Y'all know the PS4's analogue pad is a poor replacement for a PC mouse. However, the largest barrier to game completion in this port seems to be the free-looking. Yes, the control situation can be temporarily remedied using the "Button Assignments" option in the System "Accessibility" menu - which needs to be done/undone every session. Despite their pathfinding, only the movement of the trucks seems to be randomized, so you can feel like a God ripping through a round once you've memorized every trap and ran the level a few times. CT is very clever, with wacky physics where anything can happen at any time (including arbitrary deaths), and it can even be fun sometimes once you "get" the rhythm of a particular level. I had never played "Clustertruck" before but couldn't ignore the Let's Plays on YouTube when they were trending at their zenith, and I really don't mind first-person platformers. But I persevered for a long time until then. In fact, the controls for this PS4 port - which are unalterable, outside of the System menu - completely and hopelessly ruin the game, especially now that I am on the infamous final level. I waited until this PS4 port was on sale, finally, for 5 bucks before I took the plunge. New year, new me, which means more backlog consolidating. 20% PlayStation 4TL DR Very bad port of a legendary game.
